Unit 2: Hero Prop Research

Taking into consideration the origin and the motive of my character, it seemed as though the 'Hero Prop' for the Pagan Colossus should be something to do with nature and something he is fighting to protect or keep safe. This brought to mind Forest Spirits or Gods, or a certain object that holds a segment of the spirit of nature. 

The impression I got from most of the images is that a 'Forest Spirit' is normally represented through animals, whether they are real or vaguely resemble a real animal. Concept Art representations of 'Forest Spirits' often include parts of forestry or woodland growth in their features as a way of showing where their origins lie.
